The Norwich Pena

The Norwich Peña is a local Flamenco Club held once a month in Norwich. It takes the form of an informal evening or afternoon of impromptu flamenco music, song and dance, or juerga. It is free entry to all and there is tapas and drink available all evening. Everyone is invited to come along and take part in the dance or join in with palmas (rhythmic hand-clapping). It is a good opportunity for students to practise their new dances and performance skills. Or just come along and soak up the Flamenco party atmosphere.

A big thank you to all who came to the Flamenco afternoon on Sunday 24th January at the Cider Shed.

The hat was passed round for voluntary contributions for charity. The total was £110 which has been donated to the Haiti Disaster Emergency Fund. Thank You everyone!
